Super!
Just finished a wonderful week in Tignes, Val Claret, our 8th 4 trident clubmed holiday and our best. The skiing is superb. The ESF school excellent and everyone was really happy with their instructors. The hotel is very nice, similar to other recently renovated Club meds but better managed, and I liked the layout. The staff were incredibly friendly, the service excellent and the food really good and better than elsewhere. First time we’ve left a clubmed ski hotel without one of the 5 of us getting Gastro- thank you! Also, despite a full hotel we rarely had to queue at food stations and popular choices were regularly restocked. The pool area and saunas are also lovely. Jacuzzi was initially cold but fixed and we spent the last evening in it being snowed on. We’ll definitely be back, Tignes is just great and this club med is a perfect place to stay. Thanks again to all the staff.

Club Med is a class act!
We had a very enjoyable week skiing over Christmas week at Club Med, Tignes, 22-29 Dec. Club Med is a tried-and-tested all inclusive package. There resort is staffed by enthusiastic, mainly young people from many different countries, trained in the Club Med ethos. Evening entertainment is excellent for those who wish to enjoy it but not forced upon you. Kids below 12 are encouraged to go to this resort, over 12s are encouraged to go to the Club Med at Val d'sere which is a little bit older. The ski service is excellent and the instruction available is good for those who want it. Tip: if you do not want to use the instruction then book as a non-skier, as rental of ski equipment is extra anyway and a lift pass is included for skiers and non-skiers alike. The rooms are very comfortable. Food is in the form of an extensive buffet, catering for all tastes. It does have a sameness by the end of the week, but is excellent all round. Christmas was celebrated well for kids and adults alike, with an excellent Christmas Eve banquet (wine charged extra for some reason) and Christmas Day buffet. Skiing on Christmas Day was like any other day. The spa and leisure centre are also excellent but book any treatments desired in advance or on arrival if possible. The swimming pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, sauna and steam room are all newly built. Some may not find the Club Med ethos to their taste, but I cannot recommend this resort more highly.

Great experience again!
After staying in Val Thorens last year, we tried Tignes this year. Exclusive Collection is more expensive, but worth every penny. Highly recommend.
