We had 8 days 7 nights stay at Club Med Guilin which is one of the largest Club Med in Asia where it features a vast park with over 100 contemporary sculptures by local and international artists. We had a memorable stay at this resort during which we participated in various activities such as tai chi, archery and art printing.
We managed to explore almost every corner of this huge resort. Every sculpture is uniquely different and every scenery at the resort is worth the time.
The resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, four KTV rooms, three restaurants, a gym, etc. There are many activities for families which cater for both the elderly and the young.
The room that we stayed, Deluxe Room with balcony, was large and comfortable.
Lim, the Village Chief, is very friendly. He greets and mingled with the guests during meal time. He also is an MC, dancer and overall, a good performer in the nightly show.
We would like to compliment the OGs namely Loic (a great performer), Lucky and Sammi (who make great cocktail), Liang (for his patience in teaching us archery), Iris and Yang from the Village Outing Department. Artelier staff namely, Mei, Xina, Qun and Penny Lai (for serving us well throughout our stay)
We have been to several other Club Med and we must say we thoroughly enjoyed this Club Med the most. We highly recommend this place for your vacation.
This is our 2nd time to visit club med Guilin, it’s been a year. Different CDV, different GOs but more fun. Thanks CDV Lim for the warm and polite welcome every time. Thank you front desk Circle, Becky for always taking care of us and also Vera and Yulia. Thank you girls so much. Zoey still miss Circle jiejie.
Besides, I need to appreciate who serve the delicious foods and drinks every day. Thanks restaurant manager Joe and bar manager Frank. Thank you bar team Ricardo, Abu, Lucky and Wind for serve us all day long and also prepare all the night event. Thank you guys, really appreciate!! Oh , I really want to appreciate a GE Echo, we came here last year and she still remember us and when we having meal, she always has warm and happy serving, always taking care of us.
Next, I really want to appreciate the sports and entertainment team. Thanks manager Peggy who always have so many energy. Thank you Zahra, so good to see you again. Thank you Abby, I love your dance and energy. Also, circus Jacky who always have nice welcome and drink with me. Thanks rock climbing Eric and Raymond. And most important our choreographer-Loic, without you there’s no amazing show every night. So happy to see you again and thank you for having dinner with us.
The Most IMPORTANT team I need to appreciate is MINI CLUB!!! Thank you guys for the hard working every day. There’s so many kids during the vacation, thank you guys, really really appreciate. Thanks manager Victor, my boy was really happy to meet you again. Thanks QQ, Emma, Deemo and Jeff. Can’t believe only 5 of you guys have to take care of almost 100 kids. Thank you guys for this hard working!!!

Slightly dated facilities, but very relaxing environment and excellent staff (from head of activities to the waitress), great food and fantastic value for money. Did I mention the staff were amazing?
Wonderful experience in club med. nature hike is really a nice experience as well. cooking class by Ivan is also very easy to understand. Enjoyed the duck feeding session. Guilin club med is relatively large, they do prepare buggies for visitors to move around.
Bouquets of flowers and three cheers to the GO and F/B team. So enthusiastic and passionate for the guests. Rooms were quite dated...unable to control ambient lighting conditions. Great to have access to food almost at all times. Our safety and welfare was very much cared for.

As part of the fight against Covid-19, health measures at the borders are being reinforced and may in particular require a virological screening test (for example PCR test) depending on your country of origin, transit or destination before your departure and/or before your return. We suggest you obtain more information from the consular services of the countries concerned or on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your nationality and/or place of residence.
Vaccinations and medical treatment... Sanitary conditions are generally good in China, but don't forget to check all the necessary formalities before departure.
Vaccinations recommended: Diphtheria Polio Tetanus Hepatitis A and B Typhoid Yellow fever (this vaccination is mandatory if you arrive in China from an area where yellow fever is endemic).
Meningitis A & C is recommended for regions closed to Mongolia. Rabies and japanese encephalitus.
Mosquitos can transmit certain viruses and parasitic diseases, so you are strongly advised to use tropical mosquito repellents for skin and clothing.
Risk of the most dangerous form of malaria (falciparum) means that serious prevention is necessary (chemoprophylaxis and mosquito repellents).
As a preventive measure against bird flu, you are advised not to visit bird markets and zoos. Also, tap water in China is not drinking water, we recommend you drink mineral water.
Yanshan Hospital (for minor problems) is 15 min away. Guilin has two other hospitals: Nan Xi Schan Hospital and 181 Hospital, around one hour's drive from the Resort.
